United Methodist Women is a one-million member organization whose purpose is to foster spiritual growth, develop leaders and advocate for justice. Members raise more than $20 million a year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world.

Our PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. One million plus lay women have chosen to be members of United Methodist Women.

Any woman can be a member whether she is United Methodist or not. Simply join a unit in a local United Methodist congregation. All women, regardless of membership in St. Andrew UMC, are cordially invited to participate in UMW activities and events.
