  Prayer Requests

Prayer.

If you or someone you know is in need of prayer, please let us know.

You are not alone. We believe in the power of prayer.

Let us share God's healing power with you.

There are two ways to communicate prayers requests to us:

1.  Send your prayer requests directly to St. Andrew United Methodist Church. You can do this via email (standrewumc@earthlink.net) or by calling the church office at 770-832-1120. You may leave a message if you call at a time when the office is closed. If you prefer our pastor will treat your prayer request confidentially, or if you prefer she will pass along your prayer request to the congregation so that others can be in prayer for you as well. If you would like to speak to or meet with our pastor in person, simply indicate that when when you email or call.

2. The United Methodist Church operates a LIVING PRAYER CENTER where United Methodists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to hear your prayer concerns.

The Upper Room® Living Prayer Center is a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week intercessory prayer ministry staffed by Christian volunteers. When you call, a person will answer the phone, receive your prayer request, and pray with you. After your call, your prayer concern will be forwarded to one of 300 Upper Room Covenant Prayer Groups located all over the world, who will pray for your request for an additional 30 days. When you submit a prayer request using this web page, your request will be e-mailed to the Prayer Center within 24 hours and sent out to Upper Room Covenant Prayer Groups as well. More than 30,000 prayer requests are received each month.

To protect the privacy of those requesting prayer, each request is edited before it is sent to Covenant Prayer Groups. The request is edited to remove any information that would identify the person or situation needing prayer.
